Rose Klix is available for book signings. Did you know that an author's signature increases the value of books for collectors? But, book signing events are not just for book collectors and authors. Bookstores benefit from these events by the increased sales of the book being promoted. Signings also allow authors to connect with their fans and for fans, signings provide a chance to see and meet a favorite author and ask them questions.
Rose Klix is available for workshops.Her most recent workshop presentation is "What Do Poetry Judges Want?" She explains what poetry judges look for and discusses her experiences as a contestant as well as a poetry judge. Rose successfully presented this workshop at the Rapid City Public Main Library in South Dakota and at the Halls Branch Library in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Readings & Speaking Events
Rose enjoys any opportunity to connect with her readers, read excerpts from her books, and meet fellow authors. She has been invited to speak at various local libraries and colleges in Tennessee and in South Dakota. You could also get lucky and catch her reading her poetry at open mic nights. She makes public appearances in partnership with a number of writing and poetry groups. (Did you know that Rose Klix organized talented area poets and founded The Poetry Society of Tennessee - Northeast Tennessee chapter?)

Poetry Contest Judging Assignments
Rose Klix enjoyed reading the children's poetry and judging the Spring Poetry Contest sponsored by Rapid City Public Libraries. Children in Grades K though 5 were eligible for the poetry theme: "What spring means to you" in no more than 20 lines.
She judged the 2011 Four Quarters to a Section chapbook contest for the South Dakota State Poetry Society.
Rose has judged numerous individual poetry contests for the Poetry Society of Tennessee.
